94 900RR plug gap?????

ok ive had this thing since the begining of winter and now the season is comming up and its just about ready but whats the plug gap supposed to be on it?thanks

That's odd, the tech manual says refer to the owners book for spark plug information. Call Honda dealer and they will have the info for sure.

Also, remember not to gap iridium and platinum spark plugs, the electrode will snap off.

The service manual states: 0.8mm-0.9mm (0.031-0.035 in).

I use Iridium plugs in my bike. I think the plug gap is 0.8mm, so they drop right in. As Fastrr mentioned, do not attempt to regap an Iridium plug. NKG state that even if the plug gap of the Iridium plug is different to what you require, that you should leave it as is. They say it will still perform better this way compared to a standard plug.

The standard plug is an NGK CR9EH-9 or Nippon Denso U27FER-9

thats perfact thank you i searched everywhere and couldnt find out what it was supposed to be.right now its just got regular ngk plugs in it which seem to be ok since i regapped them i just wanted to know because its going back on the road next week thank you again guys thats a big help
