TSR Japanese site (Google translation): Translated version of http://blog.eigyo.co.jp/suzuka/article/4253 | I didn't mention anything about the Akrapovic - if that's what it is - so I won't be posting anything up and I don't know why you asked. As for the HRC, we'll find out soon enough when details of the aftermarket accessories are released... which have not been yet. |

Arrow, Akropovic, Arata are. 2. The link and attachment I posted shows what the HRC exhaust looks like and shows the breakdown of what you can get as far as kit parts for the '08 from HRC ... which includes the same pipe as what was on the Dunlop tire test bike. |

Cheers, korea | Thanks for your . You've added .............. nothing to the discussion. Please return to working on important things like retrofitting digital speedometers and installing crap fiberglass. |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade I have to admit it's growing on me.. I'm sure it'll be an amzing drive but I still can't get over those headlights.. I'm personally riding an 07 Repsol. Remember the tagline for the 07 - Don't immitate, intimidate! The 07 looks down right angry but the 08 looks in the promo video/pics a little scared... I love the new colour but just can't get over the front..
Have Honda made a 999? |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade Hello everyone, some time snce I last posted! I have an 04 in 05 tricolours.
Looking to change it for a new one. What has honda done to the 2008 model! Oh dear a styling disaster, I havent met anyone yet who even remotely likes it, and neither do I!!!!(yep a 999 flop what a great way to destroy sales)) The 07 is mean balanced and good looking (is that just my opinion) so thats what I am going to buy , my dealer wants me to buy an 08 NO THANKS, I'll have an 07 in red and black please before they all sell out.
Owning a bike is not just about riding it. You need to be able to look back at it after a ride and admire its looks not have beer goggles in order to make it look good. |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade Man I'm at school and can't buy mine until May! I really hope they don't stick to the plan and only make a limited number of black on silvers! If thats the case I just don't know what I will do!
My local dealership offers a 5 year warranty but anything I want done I have to have them done.. All the way down to the windscreen! Eh trade off... Its going to be HARD to get the oe parts for awhile! |

After seeing the 08 in person in the black/met gray theme and red/black, most feel the black/gry combination is best, including myself because the colors on the side blend to the lower portion of the body work instead of coming to that ugly point at the bottom. The front cowl and headlites I think I can adjust to, but not the side profile with the blunt point going down. |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade I order my new CBR1000RR8 Fireblade in 30.1.2008. It land's to Finland in 4/2008. That is perfect timing in here, because winter snow is maybe melting away in this time. I have to wait couple of month's. That is really tought.

I just hope walking in with 12k cash will be enough "push" to get my hands on one! |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade Hi
First post on this forum!
I have been reading this thread for a while about the 08 and must admit I was never a big fan, but after reading more about it and seeing more detailed photos, I am now a convert. the looks are debateble but at least its different from the rest.
I have ordered a Candy Red/ Black one and will be getting it later this week. I cant wait, the only down side to this is that Im trading in my 07 HRC scheme which is very pretty.
So will post up pics as soon as I get hold of it, might even be as soon as Tuesday!!! |
