| Re: 2008 Fireblade I like this one better which is similar but doesn't have the goofy lightning bolt look to the headlights. Either way they both look a lot like the 1098 front end.

| Re: 2008 Fireblade I'll allow that there is a little resemblance to the R1 but have you even seen the GSX-R? That is the ugliest front end ever and looks nothing like the other two. But it actually looks the most like the 1098 front end.

| Re: 2008 Fireblade the red one is the real thing, its a weird high angle shot though, if you see it in person they look more liek ducts and less like saggy eyelids. I dont think you guys are quite getting how narrow the thing is, there is only one light per side cause there is only room for one light per side. It makes the R1 or GSXR look like cargo ships its so tiny. |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade If the weight truly is 438 Lbs as stated; that's pretty impressive when comparred to the current (07) Liter Class bikes:
CBR1000RR = 455 Lb (206 Kg)
1098 = 443 Lb (201 Kg)
ZX-10R = 453 Lb (205 Kg)
GSX-R1000 =471 Lb (214 Kg)
YZF-R1 = 461 Lb (209 Kg)
These figures were taken from the July issue of Sport Rider Mag |

| Re: 2008 Fireblade So far I think it looks awesome and I'm betting it'll have specs to match. Anyone heard of a Repsol color scheme yet? Looks like it's also fitted with Dunlop Qualifiers at least in the early pics. I'm on my second set of them and love em. 3 Rears and 2 Fronts actually.

| Re: 2008 Fireblade I think I said about 100 posts ago that it would look a lot better with a RV212 style hugger. Huge improvement in my opinion. I bet they charge a fortune for it though. They still need to do something about the can.
