Fender Eliminator

Just wondering if any of you noticed any inexpensive fender eliminators out there that clean up the appearance of the 1000RR.

Re: Fender Eliminator

I have an extra Jardine fender eliminator for sale. 04-05 1000RR let me know if you want it. I paid 80 for it so I'm asking 80 shipping included!

Re: Fender Eliminator

I was asking because I am trying to see if anyone noticed the one sold by TST Industries. It costs 27.99 and is the simplest thing out there. The CNC cuts make it trick looking and the powdercoat makes it durable and gives it longevity. It's the lightest I have seen (2.7 oz). Instruction sheet makes the installation simple with step-by-step, illustrated explanation.

Re: Fender Eliminator

I've bought a couple Motrax fender eliminator kits. Not sure if they will work on a 1000RR though.
Cycle Gear - Motorcycle Apparel, Parts and Accessories has them for around $15-30.

Re: Fender Eliminator

Have you checked out the PUIG fender eliminator? That is the one I'm leaning to myself. Has anyone seen it or installed one?

I put the Puig on my 07 Blade. I also went with the Clear Alternatives integrated tail light to eliminate the turn signals. Here is a before and after photo.

Not at all. I spent about an hour installing both the fender eliminator and the integrated tail light.
I would suggest installing the VFX flasher relay if you go with the integrated tail light. The integrated
tail light uses LEDs for the turn signals. The OEM units are incandescent bulbs. The resistance is different.
The factory relay senses this difference in resistance and interprets it as a failed bulb and increases the flash
rate dramatically to notify the driver. The VFX unit maintains the DOT flash rate with the LED signals. The
Clear Alternatives light comes with some cheesy resistors to fake out the OEM relay. Ditch these and install
the $17.95 VFX relay.

Re: Fender Eliminator

check out the fender eliminators at www.tstindustries.com. They are designed to be super light (4 oz.), have great durability and longevity, and have the best pricetag on the market because you are buying factory direct
