| Re: anyone have seen 929 with 600rr or 1000rr front ( headlights) why would you want to put a 600rr in a 929 frame?
or am I the only that doesn't understand why a smaller displacement would be better?
the headlight thing is probally easier, you just get a race front fairing and cut whatever headlight shape that will fit and put the lens of your decision in those holes and find a way to illuminate the lens and you'll have the look you want! |

You should see the crazy stuff they do to make something work, for a short while anyways. The best I saw, when I lived there, was a wooden spoiler. It was literally a 1x4 screwed into the trunk lid of a ford tempo.
I liked his moto-gp exhaust... except it should have been a little higher I think! |

He's not talking about putting a 600RR motor into the 929 frame, all he wants to do is update the cosmetics so that his 929 looks like a 600RR/1000RR at the front.
Regarding that fitment, the 600RR/1000RR nose might be narrower than the 929, so there may be some fitment issues.
Cheers,

i am going to look into doing it, but adding cover to hide some of the rear of the light and to keep it sheilded from rain.
now, who wrecked a late model 6 or 1k? |

The dual lights look ok when they both are on and in low beam but I hate that only one lights up when on low beam. And why would you do that to a 954? The 954 headlight is so original and badas* I would never change it, the 929 however, is a different story... |
