I ended up taking my 3 1/2 inch cut off saw/grinder and just cutting it off. Took my triple trees out but the threads were messed up anyways and possibly bent. So you building a race bike or just stock bike? |
Yeah, i used the shock adjuster that came in the toolbag to take that off. worked perfectly. The square end of it will not seat, but it has enough grip once you apply pressure to take it off and tighten it back up. It wass flawless for me. I am just building another streetable bike. I have a k7 750 for track fun finally. I have so far bought everything from ebay to make the bike. Frame 02 was 181 buck shipping and all, ran the numbers and it was legit but no title so i have bonded for one, the motor was 327, subframe was 86, forks were 200 with the controls and all, front and back wheels were 211, swingarm was free from a friend, gas tank with a lil rash was 112, and the rear and side plastics with rash were 100 bucks. I still have to find the front fairing, windscreen and headlight. So far so good.
