| best performing 954 exhaust I recently lowsided at the track and my exhaust got pretty messed up. I currently have a Erion racing exhaust on it and was wondering what every one else runs. I am wanting a new exhaust that is better if that is possible. So my question is what are you guys running and how does it compare with the erion? I do not want any thing of less quality. Thanks |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust I have the "ZERO", which is the US name for a Japanese Moriwake.
I has sort of a rainbow paint pattern on it, which I don't really love, but the quality is top shelf, it sounds great and fits great.
Does it make the bike perform better? I have not had it dynoed, but it sure feels a bit perkier.... bottom line: great exhaust. |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust i'm havin a arata full titanium, feels a tad better than my previous akro (both were mapped with pc3 on the same dyno)
the arata pumps out extra 2hp compared with the akro. |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust I looked into full systems when i had my 954 a year ago and the Arata when properly tuned would produce 17 more hp than stock, which is normaly around 132hp. I couldn't affort the $ for this so the next best was Micron serpent headers and race can +15hp with power commander. This was around $1800 NZ so don't know how much cheaper you guys will get it for $1200? |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust Arata Pipes are hard to come by for the 954. I found a seller though that has them on ebay.com and bought mine on there a month back. Just search 954 and arata. He was selling it for $900.00 . |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust I have the full yosh trs race system. Anybody know how it ranks compared to the ones mentioned above? I will be getting custom map in the next few weeks so I will report back then. I have noticed it is considerably more quiet than some others I have heard. Makes me wonder if it gets less power to the ground. The paperwork that it came with said it is a race only exhaust, but mabey they all say that because thet do not meet noise restrictions. |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust If your just doing a slipon I tried the Yosh, bought one it sucks, Bought a Jardine RT-1 it works great plus the oval pipe just looks good. Gonna need to power commander it to get it right though the-1 rt pipe leaves a big hole in your curve at 5500 rpm |

Originally Posted by bjay51d I just looked up AJKO...WOW best looking exhaust system out there.Theres a r1 on youtube that has to be the best sounding inline 4 i ever heard | AJKO exhaust is something like RACEFIT exhaust Slashcut for Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Find more detail here: www.ajko.it and www.racefit.co.uk. Those are exhaust systems especially for circuits. RACEFIT exhaust systems are put on Moto GP bikes (Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha). I'm happy that someone like AJKO made the Slashcut for Honda(picture above). When you put an exhaust like this on the bike and ride it on the public streets you should be very carefully because it is NOT FOR ROAD USE. It makes a lot of noise and could have serious problems with police. In Romania the law about the noise is "in the fog"(i don't know hou to say) and so most of the bikers have very loud exhast systems. I have Micron system on my '954 and this summer i will change it to AJKO, then i'll put a short movie with exhaust and sound. |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust I'm on my 3rd 954 and have had standard, Staintune & Yoshimura slip ons. Got a Yoshi TR3 full system now and there is no comparison to the others in sound & performance but with out a doubt you have to install a Power Commander PC3 to get the most out of it. I didn't beleive it could make such a difference untill I put it on. |

| Re: best performing 954 exhaust Since this post has been bumped a few times then once recently I will go ahead and say I went with the jardine half slip on. I bought it from starcycle off of ebay for around 355 If I remember correctly. I do enjoy it because It gave me a little more down low power I believe. |

One more thing to get the attention of cagers
OK just kidding I am reaching the point where I am seriously considering bolting my stocker back on after hearing that one.........
You think the wife who follows me about woulda said something. |
