| custom 929 pics....lets see 'em....no factory paint schemes Lets get some pics of custom painted 929s. There are tons of pics of stock paint schemes......we know what they look like. Now lets see what else has been done with these bikes. Doesn't have to be graphics, just something different than factory. Streetfighters are cool too.
I'll start with my '00.
Bought it with a really bad paint job and an ugly red windscreen that didn't fit. Currently have all the fairings off and am prepping them to be painted black.

Only major differences will be my windscreen will be clear, and I have all clear/flushmount turn signals, with a clear integrated tail light. What did you do to your wheels? is that a white stripe on them?
Keep em coming guys, I know there are more of you with non-stock 929s.

my wheels are powder-coated black on the inside. the white strip is actually just the silver rim that came with the bike...

| Re: custom 929 pics....lets see 'em....no factory paint schemes ok....this is probably the baddest looking 929 i have seen yet....i would gladly take this over any stock 08 honda, yamaha, suzuki, kawasaki, or even ducati ! much love for the 929 here ! It obviously won't hammer the new bikes performance wise, but it looks pretty damn streetable for a highly customized 929,although i don't care for the whole 'lowered ' set up that people do on sport bikes... the 'buy it now' price is way to high in my opinion, but the bike is awesome no doubt, nice work who ever did it. eBay Motors: Honda : CBR (item 120221482844 end time Feb-21-08 18:02:22 PST)

| Re: custom 929 pics....lets see 'em....no factory paint schemes This is my one off Gp style blade that i have TOTALLY rebuilt from the ground up. I love this bike and has not ever done me wrong. Let me know What you guys think. I am thinking about a new paint job. Maybe red with white honda wings, kinda like the stock but reversed. This red is ferrari red. Not cheep by the way, so when she goes down, it hurts the pockets a bit. Thats why it pays to know the paint supplier for body shops. |
