Oil filter - 2008 CBR1000RR

Does anyone know if a Honda OEM 954 oil filter will fit on the new 08 1000RR? Same part number or has it changed?

Re: Oil filter - 2008 CBR1000RR

You should use Honda filter 15410 MFJ D01. Honda has standardized on this filter for all or most of it's bikes. It's the same one Honda recommends for my ST1300. I changed the filter on my '08 CBR1000RR (dark candy red and silver) about two weeks ago at 625 miles. I recommend the new orange bottle Honda HP4S full synthetic oil, available online for about $7.75 per bottle. You can get the filters at HondaDirectLine.com in a ten pack for about $75.00. I have 1200 miles on the bike now and the oil still looks clean and fresh.

Honda uses one filter for most of the bikes and I think their generators as well. The only bike that is different is the RC45 and early RC51 which took the blue filter.
