Just to get you in the mood.......the fuel tank needs to be removed as well
After an hour or two, I also thought the saw/grinder option would be much easier

After an hour or two, I also thought the saw/grinder option would be much easier | You don't have to remove fuel tank or any wiring, the rear sub frame splits at rear light and unbolts 1 side at a time with the rear pegs, takes about 45 mins the worse bit is prizing apart rear bodywork |

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread Asphalt: it takes some getting used to seeing the same bike as mine with white stripes, I hope you enjoy it dude.
Turbo: did you put the servo cover back on??? also be good to see a top down view with the seat and tank cos it is lush.
Hoody: everytime I see a black one looking good it almost (ALMOST) makes me regret not getting it but then I look at mine and think nah im a red & black man and I can't ask for anything more.
Keep the pics coming chaps they do look lovely, How anyone can say they think the 08 blade is ugly is beyond me it is one of the most sexiest bikes I have ever had the privilege to set eyes on let alone own.
Reputation points all round

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread What amazes me is how people criticise openly. If I met somebody who had saved for two years to buy a bike I thought was a piece of crap, I would still say "Good for you mate, enjoy it".
At a Honda open day at my dealership, I was talking to a guy with a nice 2007 Repsol Fireblade. When I told him what I was riding, he said "What did you get one of those ugly things for ?".
I think we have to realise that some people hide their jealousy in strange ways.
I know whose bike was getting more attention too |

Not trying to get you to spend more money, but...........
The US black engine cases would look wicked on your bike. And mine
Why did we get bronze coloured ones anyway ?? |

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread Hehe splatty its already in the pipeline m8
I have tried to look at solutions for the engine casings with no major success (problems with each solution) so I have decided that I will give it a couple of months and then order them in, unless I can do a swap with someone in the states that wants bronze ones (no idea why honda didn't keep them all the same).
Keith: I know exactly what ya mean m8, Just got back from a nice ride in the wet and she handles beautifully on the wet stuff.
