Bee | hey! yes Pazzo shorty levers. taking off the fender? was easy to put on tire hugger. taking off stock taillight is another story.(pain in thr azz) the undertail is from Hot Bodies Racing I had a tech put it on at the honda dealership. Im not very good at that kinda stuff. now that its on Im happy,But I wasnt at first because Hot Bodied put the product on the market before they even had any type of instructions to install. Also the guy sends me pics telling me I might have to shave off a small piece. So it cost me $170.00 to have it and the levers installed. new leo Vince full Corsa exhaust system is on the way and a few other things I will post new pics |

The rim tape looks great mate, especially white on black on our colour bike. I wasn't sure at first, but I really like it. TBH my mate who is a graphic sign writer did it for me. He cut the vinyl too so mine are actually one piece, whereas I think the Honda ones are actually three stickers.
Deathace.
Cheers mate, as I said, thanks for all the pointers. |

Akrapovic do a full evolution system for the 08 Blade which looks one of the nicest and sounds good as well, however they are costly and will more than likely need a power commander to accompany it to get the best results, I would try something like this before getting the bob farnham treatment.

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread Hi peeps.
Thought I'd add to the show with a pic of my own.
So far the mods have extended to:
Honda seat hump, R&G tail tidy, Pazzo stubbies, Goodridge braided hoses front and rear, Gilles VCR rearsets, Acumen gear indicator, HRC quick action throttle (1/6 turn), full Akrapovic system with carbon end can, BST carbon wheels (still waiting for the front), wavey rear disc brake and Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's. There's a dynojet PCIII that I'm waiting for as well.
Any of you folks over the pond know where I can get a decent hugger to replace the piece of garbage Honda fit as standard?
Have fun, live fast, be safe |

Russ | Just to let you know, the full system has added 7bhp at peak revs at the wheel, but has similar gains throughout the entire rev range with no flat spots. I'll let you know what it makes with the PCIII on.
My 06 Blade made 150hp with a micron can, the 08 model is now making 170hp (all figures from a dynojet main agent dyno) |

Also got a copy of your dyno sheet scanned in it would be nice to see what the curve looks like more than the peak power, good luck with the next run with the pc3 on it. If you can get a video of the sound the akky makes it would be appreciated before I shell out on one.

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread Hi Deathace
Heal plates came with the Gilles VCR, already fitted to the rearsets. I didn't bother with a print out for this run though I did look at it on the dyno screen. All I can say is it's as straight as they come all the way to peak with at least 5hp more than standard throughout. I'll post the printouts though once the PC is on.
I've had a go at a video but I'm a techno numpty and not sure you'll get anything from it mate |

I got those from my Honda dealer, £50!!!
Don't think I'd bother on any other colourbike, well possible the red, but they suit the white bike a treat.

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread Great thread!
I've just sold my RC51 and I've owned a couple 900RRs. I'd been thinking about trying to find another red/white/blue 900RR like my old '93. Then I saw the '08s. I've been looking for pictures of bikes with undertails, seat cowls, rear pegs removed, etc. and after seeing this thread and all of the things that you guys have done to your bikes, I'm pretty sure that I'll be back on a new CBR again.
Cheers.

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread I'm honestly not 100% cartain mate, I ordered the system along with a few other bits and didn't look at a break down of the price, just the total.
I'll dig my invoice out when I get home and let you know though
DukeRR8 - I've had all the parts fitted by a mechanic, I'm not into tinkering myself. Again I'll ask how tricky and post back on here. To be honest I'm tempted to go for one of the translogic micro dash setups, but we'll see |

I like gear read outs, saves me trying to select 7th
I will get some decent pictures of my bike to post up, if we get some good weather, raining on and off this week in North Wales. The last time I rode down to a nice spot, thought this would be a good place for some pictures. Unfortunately the battery to my camera was still on charge at home DOH!
