| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread The full system was £772.77+vat (£908 approx) from Welcome to HPS - Performance Parts for your Motorcycle
Checked the owners manual and Honda lists fuel@17.7L oil@3.7L and coolant@3L which i reckon comes to about 22Kg. All up wet weight was 190.5kg so that should equate to a dry weight of approx 168.5Kg. All weight saving is from the system and carbon wheels. |

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread Very nice CBR! I wish I could hear it as well. If the Blk/White was offered in the US. I would have bought that color myself. Quote:

The full list of mods goes; Acumen Digi gear indicator, Renthall grips, HRC quick action throttle (1/6 turn), Pazzo stubby levers, Goodridge stainless hoses, wavey rear disc, BST carbon wheels, Pirelli Corsa III's, Gilles VCR rearsets, frame plugs, powder coated pillion footpegs, Akrapovic full system with carbon end can, PCIII with custom map, Honda seat hump, Honda carbon fender, Honda carbon hugger, Honda fairing scuff guards, R&G tail tidy, mini LED rear indicators, 5X7 number plate, Datatool alarm and smartwater.
Akrapovic are doing some tasty carbon bits which I need to get ordered
I must say there are some very very nice examples of the 08 blade out there already, great considering how new the bike still is. We just need some decent weather now eh | |

But I've got to say that I still haven't seen an aftermarket exhaust that would make me change the original. |

| Re: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Photos Thread well, my exhaust change is looking imminent becuase i now have melted plastic all over my heat shield. i'm thinking the Yoshi becuase of the fill in panel. full system with pc3. would prefer a more honda brand like the arrow or akro but they don't do a fill in. there's an outside chance of the arata becuase the short pipe (still full system) has the twisted mid pipe which kind of still makes the missing heat shield area a little less sparse. |

I have seen it in the flesh and the gap is bearly noticeable
