Its in the garage already. Going to pop there tomorrow to discuss what needs going, will take the camera.

Its not too bad, just annoying more than anything - 3 days old and already has war wounds...

Wow, my heart goes out to you dude. Some F&%ker one last week reveresd and tapped my bike, it chiped the paint very little on the engine; I lost it....I went to the police station, called his and my insurences and alomot kicked his ass.

I guess it was more like I felt someone hurt her and I was helpless to react...

That's a nice colour - glad the US are getting a white one now!

Any idea when you will be getting it? Feb/March? earlier even?

Deathace, that looks so sweet...nice job!

I really wish I could whip the pegs off, alas I don't think the wife will be too pleased when she comes for a ride...if only they we easy to remove/replace....

That blacked out exhaust shield looks great! Is it powdercoated? How does this affects from the heat from the exhaust pipe?

Yes its powder coated and in all honesty I have no idea how it is going to hold up to the heat I will find out later today when I go for a jolly good ride

The pegs are not hard to take off but it is time consuming and ideally needs 2 people present (to hold the subframe while you mess about).

In addition to the above I think I am going to take it one stage further in making it more unique

I have just grabbed a bloody good deal on ebay for the lower cowl (£269/$450 from honda) I paid £40/$68 inc postage.

I am going to get some paint matched up for the winning red and paint it red so it should look something like this (photochop) http://cbr.deathace.net/gfx/blade_future.jpg

That looks sick. What brand of plastics did you use and what did you replace? How much to get it painted? I am getting ready to build a track only 08 also. I can't wait! Do you have any other plans for it?
