The indicators are from Wunderlich - Arrow LED's.....ok don't laugh.....it's actually indicators for a BMW K1200S and the same ones I use on my K. I like their quality and fit so much, I decided to use them on the '08 Blade (also used them on my '07
Now, the Rizoma's are sexier but they have a solid shaft. I have used them in the past but where they are so exposed like on the '08, they tend to brake very easy as they have no flex in the shaft at all.......just someone parked next to you can cause breakage by simply cliping it with a boot whilst mounting his/her own bike. ......therefore decided on the Wunderlich ones instead.
See pictures of them on the BM, the '07 Blade, the '08 Blade and the flexibility of the indicators
Hope this will be of help.

| Re: 08 Blade Mods Seat cowls are lovely aren't they. I'm just a bit surprised they didn't do a silver one for your colour scheme.
Bike looks wicked though mate.
Can't wait to get the tail tidy and the pegs off mine. |

Can't wait to get the tail tidy and the pegs off mine. | There is one in silver. I just thought it would look better in black. |

| Re: 08 Blade Mods a work in progress........it's tail tidy time.
Said before, and so have others, this bike is a b*t*h to work on.
Simply nothing is easy. As can be seen from the photos, the rear must be stripped completely to fit a new no. plate holder
BIG up to fellow forum member SodaO for keeping his promise and "hand delivered" my(his) R&G tail tidy alll the way from the UK.
ps. anyone removed the right front fairing yet?......well let's say, it's not just a case of unscrewing the bolts. As to the reason?.......all together different story.....a one.

Nah, nothing to be nervous about, easy really........just start stripping until there is nothing more to stip, then put it all back together again (and hope there are no spares left)

| Re: 08 Blade Mods nice pics madnob. The bike looks killer. It's got that only when new shine to it.
You really need a fender eliminator though. $25 for a black and deckers version of a dremel tool and $3-5 for a cutting disc. At the very least you could cut off the excess. |

It does look like a hugh deal, but in the end it is not so bad. I think it took me about an hour to do, not like the 6 hours to remove the rear foot pegs. |

| Re: 08 Blade Mods I've just had a flick through the instructions, I am gonna go for it one night in the week and put a couple of hours aside.
No chance this weekend........too much family stuff to do.
I'm sure you're right guys, no problem once you get started. Just seems that Honda decided to design a bike that nothing was easy to do on but ride hard |

I also have a red '73. Luckily I was able to score a factory 454 car. Of course, I changed spark plugs on it yesterday and have to wonder if I am really so lucky or not. Those are some TIGHT spaces! I much prefer working on the bike!!! Of course, removing the passenger pegs a few days ago was no cake walk.
