Speedohealer install problem on 929

Hi, yesterday I tried to install a speedohealer v4 onto my 929 but it didn't go that smoothly as I imagined... I connected the cables and switched it into test mode. Everything seemed to be fine except that despite of the manual the speedometer showed 0. When I spinned the back wheel I could see the "t" sign blinking on the speedohealer, thus it received the sign from the speed sensor. I calibrated it according to the manual and everything seems to be normal but still the speedometer shows 0 when I spin the wheel does anybody have any tips on this? Thanks in advance

Yes, but I could see no troubleshooting tips
Anyway I'll try the shop I bought it. I just wanted to try here maybe I made a trivial mistake somewhere that somebody would point out...

did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same issue. It should be a simple plug and play

I talked to the dealer about the issue and he advised me to check the green wire. It seemed to be OK so we agreed that this week I'll take the stuff back and he'll investigate whether the wire or the unit is wrong. I'll keep You updated.

I brought mine to the shop where I bought it today and we plugged in a new healer and problem remained. New harness and problem fixed. good luck with yours!

Re: Speedohealer install problem on 929

Thanks for the info! I also brought mine to the dealer yesterday and for me the unit proved to be wrong
But now everything is working and as an extra they calibrated mine precisely I'm glad that both of us could overcome this issue!

Re: Speedohealer install problem on 929

I've posted on a few other boards trying to figure it out and seems that more people than you'd think have issues with them. Buying an item like this it really makes sense to buy locally in case something is wrong. Glad you got it working!
