Has anyone else experienced this and if so did your dealer replace the parts?
PS I have been told that the exhaust problem I have experienced is due to the catalitic converter being in the wrong position?! | my exhaust has gone white too below the foot pegs |

| Re: 2008 blade poor finish?! sheeet! Sorry to hear there's probs with the O8 - I picked my new one up on Friday and after only 80 miles all seems well, in fact, all seems bloody Rosey!
I will report any ill effects if and when they happen though! And yeah, bug splat is annoying, out of interest what do you all recommend as a good "shampoo" for cleaning plasting fairings and what would you use to polish ???? |

For polish, I use MER on the whole bike. WD40 for the wheels. |

| Re: 2008 blade poor finish?! my bike has no discoloring exhaust issues but the black paint on tank looks like it came off a 1992 Honda Knighthawk with 80k on the odometer that or someone wiped the meguiars quick mist off with a Scotch brite pad.... only on the very top of tank tho, everything else is fine... I suggest you look into the clear armour that is used on high end cars they put a heavy clear vinyl over the headlights to avoid knicks from rocks and a bit lighter vinyl on all leading edges and around gas tank filler and anywhere else you may have a tendency for scratches |
