08 blades clutch

hey does anyone else,s 08 blade clutch sound a bit noisy and cause a bit of vibration through the bars on tick over cheers

I noticed that if I'm at a stop light and have the bike in neutral with the clutch out the bike vibrates a little bit, as soon as I pull the clutch in, it goes away.

Mine too but not as bad as my old Ducati 748R.That sounded like a knackered cement mixer.

I just thought it was a normal characteristic of the higher powered hondas, Because the 08 is new it will take some time for people to get used to its quirks.

cheers for replys i guess its normal cos its the same as soon2b954 when the clutch is in it goes thanks again what would you guys recommend on running in ?(how many miles) cheers

I was told by my dealer that 600 miles is the run in period (service then gun it)

1000km then go for it, yep thats the style.

My clutch is fine. Just the same a sall the other hondas I've owned.

The clutch sensation you are referring to has to do with the new slipper clutch. If it bothers you, tach it up to about 5000 to 6000 rpm & release the clutch rapidly. This works great & I would highly recommend it.
