| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun and fresh fluid - when was it last changed? Mines done yearly as a minimum, sometimes more often if I'm doing a lot of miles and/or a lot of track days |

| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun Please do change brake fluid soon, it's an easy and quick job, and report did it change anything.
if your brake lines are still original it could be a good idea to change them.

| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun I've braided hoses, and I've just replaced my fluid few weeks ago the reservoir is just on the top line I've fit new ebc HH pads in.
sun is very strong in here UV index is always 10+ in the summer
I've never felt these issues in the winter sun where UV index is around 3-4 |

| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun Did you have this problem before new ebc HH-pads?
Just wondering if they would not grip as well as you expected before properly heated up?

| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun If you've recently changed your fluid, I'd guess you just need to bleed more. Do you have a bleeder nipple at the master cylinder? That helps a lot. |

If there were moisture (ie.water) in the brake fluid it would boil if heated (evaporate to gas) and cause brake feel spongy.

| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun when I worked my brakes they were solid it's just that when I park the bike in the sun it always feels spongy again and gets better as I ride but the first gew grips on the brakes feels very strange and after a month or so the brakes feels like it have air all the time bleeding them again usually fixs the problem. |

| Re: brakes fade after parking in the sun it does sound like air in the system - I had trouble with bleeding the 954 brakes, but speedbleeders are teh way forward and not had any problems now. |
