Pig Spotters on a 929

Just got my 929 about a month ago and I'm looking to make it my own.

I'm gonna cut the exhaust can down a couple of inches, put some spike bar ends on it and get rid of the huge mirrors.

anybody have Pig Spotters on their 929? how do they look, function and fit? Pics would be appreciated if you have them...

thanks!

Re: Pig Spotters on a 929

Yeah, but you can't see anything out of them. They're as useless as tits on a bull.

No offense, but personally, I can't stand the pig spotters. I went with small aero style mirrors on my bike. I got them from Targa Accessories, and yes, you can see a lot with them!

I got the black versions. I hate that faux carbon fiber look.

Ummmm, isn't that the primary reason why you have mirrors?

Sorry for the sarcasm...couldn't help myself!!

Re: Pig Spotters on a 929

If you can't see behind you, what is the point. I am 6'3" so generally I can't see behind with almost any mirror. I have not used them in years. Along with the rear fender , they are among the first things to go.

Re: Pig Spotters on a 929

I never use my mirrors anyway except to keep an eye on traffic coming up on me. Any lane changes, my head's all over the place.

I use my mirrors a lot but I never do anything without checking over my shoulders.

Great technique. It's saved me more than once.
