Greetings from Central Illinois.

Lurked a bit, figured Id say hello.
Played with a dozen of dirtbikes, and my first streetbike was back when I was a bit younger.. sold it off 5 years ago and recently bought a gently used 03 954RR.

I love it.
So..
Mod wise, full hindle exhaust, pcIII, flush lights etc..
Dynoed 141whp today, on 89 octane.
J.Riddle racing here in Central Illinois did the tune and Im happy with it for now.

Granted Id love to have one of these factory freaks making nearly 150whp, but Im content.

So.... HI!
Dan

Re: Greetings from Central Illinois.

Dan, welcome. IMO the 02/03 Blades were great years for the Blade. I think 141 hp can give you all the kick you need. Careful out there.

Re: Greetings from Central Illinois.

Be thank ful - My Blade is only pushing out 134 at the rear wheel, then I've added a slip on so maybe lost some. Looking to get a PC3 but in no rush.

Btw, & take care on the 954RR... They are lovely machines - How about some pictures?

Re: Greetings from Central Illinois.

Riddle did the tune for 200$.

Color scheme is the black and titanium, I havent taken any pictures of it as of yet... I should of.. Ill have to wash and wax here and take a couple.

Curves, not too many there are a couple of roads that are really not paved all that well for turning and burning...
Im afraid that my own skill level isnt really up to the challenge of taking curves at break neck speeds.

I do plan on taking it (or another track dedicated bike) to some begineer track events, just to get more used to riding a few feet closer to the edge.

Re: Greetings from Central Illinois.

Hi Spyonu2007: Welcome I have a 2002 954. FYI Lang Hindle, principle owner of the exhaust you are running, is a former Canadian Superbike champion. I saw him getting helped on his Kawasaki for a race with as I remember, a full leg cast. He is an amazing rider and a great ambassador for Canada. Just thought you might like to know that, thats all. Ride safe, Steve.
