WHICH PULSE GENERATOR MARK???? (1992 cbr900)

I am attempting to put my cam chain back on after a total rebuild. The manual says to line up the T mark on the pulse generator with the mark on the cover, BUT the picture shows a different mark (one right next to the T) lined up with the mark in the cover. Please, if anybody has experience with this, let me know which is the correct mark .

Normally the mark should have piston number one at TDC which you can check with a screwdriver down the plug hole.
Do you mean there are two marks, one with the T or just one mark with the T next to it?
Any chance of pictures?

On my 93 Cbr 600 its the mark next to the T. Most likely its the same with yours.

Re: WHICH PULSE GENERATOR MARK???? (1992 cbr900)

There is a T, then a mark. It looks like this, pretty much this scale too.
T l:l F
The text says to line up the T, but the picture shows the line next to the T in line with the mark.
I played around with it today, and I think like Seb said with the 93 600, I have to line up the "l".
Thanks for you help. If anyone still knows for certain for a 1993 CBR900, please let me know.

It should be lined up with the mark next to the T rather than the T itself.
