Not to hijack this thread but what other than stock mirrors will fit a 2002 954?

I tried the "greggs" block off's that claimed to be for 08' 1000 and they didn't even come close to fitting. After that the place (McCoy motorsports) wouldn't even give me a refund. Just store credit. I called Greggs directly and he told me he didn't have them out yet, but they would be in about 2 more weeks. He said as far as he knows noone has them out yet, which was what I was finding as well. They are going to swap mine out in 2 weeks directly, but I thought I found a pair (different company) in either "Dennis Kirk" or "chaparral motorsports".

Re: 2008 CBR1000RR Mirrors

I'm sorry I misread your thread...you are looking for mirrors not block off plates. My bad. Try Ebay or Honda direct. The bike is still so new....

Yeah...he said he'd swap um out for me. The problem was with McCoys Motorsports. Watch out for them!

Re: 2008 CBR1000RR Mirrors

Well its Nov '08 and I still cant find mirror block off plates.
Exception... Greggs now makes 'em with blinkers but they are fugly and only come in black or red.

Has anyone found a pair that are attractive (blinkers are optional)?

Re: 2008 CBR1000RR Mirrors

Just curious but why not go to a machine shop and have some made to exactly what you want? I cant imagine it being to expensive and you wouldnt have to dig around the web looking for something that anyone with the internet will have. I mean Mirror block off plates are small pieces of aluminum that are cut to fill a gap...why not try the machine shop?

The way the 08's are are angled and befeled. Not like the 07 and previous. Hard to explain, but not really a simple design.
