3.5mm is SuMo thickness so I may use one of these for my current project. I'd be willing to give them a try. It will be a couple months though before I have any feedback. I have to leave town on Monday for five weeks so everything is on hold until I get back.

Edit: Just noticed the later post and the actual page where they say they are 5mm and 330mm. I need 320mm so I'll have to find something that works for my application.

Re: What do we know about these ebay wave rotors

At the price these guys are selling those rotors it wouldnt hurt to pick em up and see, hell at that price, even if they were crap they could still look sexy hanging on a wall or something...

I personally never skimp on my brakes, they are pretty much the only other thing that I dont feel bad about spending cash on other than riding gear. Skimping on brakes can lead to some pretty bad consequences, worst case being the rotor cracks, gets warped and catches on your caliper sending you and your pretty ride into the air others are it could just warp and then you get crappy braking.

I'm not saying that all chinese imitations are bad, its just that they dont have the same regulations that legit manufacturers have to maintain to keep their asses out of the courtrooms. There have been some pretty nice imitation stuff from china that I've seen on bikes and cars, but in my case when it comes to my bike, im kinda like a chick with her Versace handbag, I like the names, Brembo, Galfer, and BrakeTech are pretty much the only stuff i would touch.

On a side note, after looking at the BrakeTech Ceramic Matrix Discs, I have only one question, has anyone ridden with carbon ceramic discs and are the differences between Iron and the ceramics really noticeable, or are they something that only that elite 1-2% of riders will ever need?

Re: What do we know about these ebay wave rotors

I sent them a list of questions about rebuildability, spare parts, wear, pad compatibility, weights and such and they just responded with the usual hyperbole about them being fantastic and not actually answering any of my questions.
For me, they're a lot of money for way too many unknowns...
