Looking to see what you used, looking for no cut sliders

Re: Recommend some frame sliders for my 04 1000RR

Ive had one crash on a set of milled delrin sliders, and they worked very well. Utterly destroyed after the crash, but they did their job and saved the expensive parts of my bike. If your talking about not having to cut through the fairing, im not sure there is such a think for 1krr's because of the way the fairings are set up. There are no structural bolts exposed like there is on my 929, so I think you have to cut to install sliders... that or get different aftermarket fairings...

I currently have no cut frame sliders on my 06 1000rr, and will be changing to cut through ASAP. A simple drop at 0 mph will give you enough of a hint.

Re: Recommend some frame sliders for my 04 1000RR

I thought those no-cut sliders look kind of weak. In getting new fairings from china and will probably install sliders after i get that situated. They sure do want a lot of money for these little sliders. Ive had freinds that went to a machine shop and got them custom made for cheap (and much better quality).

the ones i had, used a metal brace from side to side between the knobs in behind the radiator, very heavy duty...
