Re: question about fairings for 1999 cbr 900

it wont bolt up easy if thats what your asking. but why would you want to the 99 blade looks great as is. i would fix it with original bodywork or remove fairings completely and make it a streetfighter. trying to bolt the 929 parts up will probably be a pain in the arse. granted if you are inclined to take on the project anything can be done with enough time or money, but why fake the funk your 99 is a beautiful bike.

Re: question about fairings for 1999 cbr 900

Ebay has cheepo fairings that are decent quality. for the price of replacing one side of the original honda fairings you get a whole set of new ones.

Have a look at eBay Motors: Honda CBR900 CBR 900 RR 919 Fireblade Fairing 98-99 (item 370119518459 end time Dec-01-08 19:52:14 PST)

Either that or go for what shakey said, make it a streetfighter

If you decide NOT to fit the 929 fairings, let me know. I'm looking for a second set of fairings for my 929 for the track, so I might be interested in buying them from you. In any case, where did you find the set that you've bought?
