929 headlight conversion ?

929 headlight conversion ?

anyone know of a different cowl/headlight assembly that would fit up on a 929 ? Or how hard would it be to change an 08 blade cowl/light assembly to an 929? Just trying to get some dif. Ideas thanks,

The 954 fits you need the 954 upper headlight and side fairings pretty sure thats it. Why would you want the 08 style they a fugly. Anything is possible if you are good at fabbing

well that's the only thing I don't like on the bike is the shape of the headlight the well I like the pointy shape of the 08 is all idk I might try some dif stuff

The possibilities are endless... You just need to know what you are doing.

I would say that the 954RR fairings should fit on the 929RR as I've seen it before, whether you need the 954RR's brackets etc is beyond me but I've seen it done.

(I'm not sure if the nose cone is directly interchangeable, maybe the sides are needed but I cannot tell you if you do or not)

I will let you know but the reason I want a dif. One is because the guy I bought it from dropped the bike on his porch and broke the plastic part which held the bolts to the headlight and now the headlight wobbles like hell so idk if anyone would want that

Check for a product called "Plastex". You can fuse the origional plastic tabs back on the headlight, or even make new tabs out of the stuff.

Cheaper route for sure.
