| Re: High Mount on your 929 or 954? Great Find. Post some pics after the install. It wont burn the ladies!! One tip on the install, the best way to do it ... unbolt the HTEV from front where it mounts to the headers, not the back where it mounts to the mid-pipe. You'll waste a lot of time realizing its nearly impossible to get the HTEV off from the back end. Then, you remove the HTEV still attached to the midpipe from the bike, and take the midpipe off. Bolt your new midpipe to your HTEV then bolt the HTEV back to the headers. This will help you a bunch, trust me. Good luck, enjoy your new pipe. It takes a few months before it starts to sound really sexy!! |

| Re: High Mount on your 929 or 954? No, it was not off e-bay, but the seller had it on ebay...so that may have been it. He was asking $75 more on e-bay. Probably because they knew I put it in my cart but never bought it. Then the next day it "suddenly" appeared on e-mail for $75 more. Good idea on their part becuase it pushed me to buy. They also have a scorpion tit flame for $225-ish. Just the slip on though... |
