| Re: 01 929 overheat issues never did find the culprit. I was tired of not riding the bike, so I just went ahead and wired the switch directly to the ground on the fan switch sensor. That way I just close the circuit and turn the fan on when im coming to a light or in traffic. Im thinking that it might be the veins in the water pump, or a faulty ECT sensor at the thermostat. I rode all weekend using the switch and the bike never got close to overheating. I'm just glad to be riding again, diesel is around 2.59/gallon here and bikes are welcome in the HOV lane in Texas. Saving money and having fun, all in one. |
