Manual Temp Switch for CBR900RR

Anybody know how to install a manual temperature switch onto my '95 Blade? Been looking around and can't seem to find exactly how to do it. I know I have to run the wires to a switch, but what wires, and what gauge of wiring should I use when relocating the switch (which is going to be on my right side plastics above the fuse box)?

PS: I suck at electronics which is why I am asking all the members here, I know I'll get the straight answer the first time.

Thanks to all in advance and I must say it's good to be back in the U.S.A.!

Just to clarify...are you wanting a manual switch to override factory one that turns on the fan? If so, run wire from a ground to one side of switch and other side to the factory wire on left side of radiator (top). 16 gauge wire is fine.
