Harris mount vs Ohlins mount

I remember reading something here, maybe on the old forum, about mounting the Ohlins damper with the Harris mount rather than the Ohlins one since it will put the adjustment knob on the left making it easier to adjust while riding. *After looking at loads of pics on the Internet, I can't see what would stop you from mounting the Ohlins mount that DK sells the same direction as the Harris one. *The only thing I can see is the sticker on the damper might be facing down. *Am I missing something here?

How would you mount the Ohlins mount the opposite direction?

Just mount the lower mount (the part that bolts to the tank) pointing the other way and flip the damper over. Seems like that would work to me, but maybe I'm missing something since I don't have oner in front of me???

It would be angled toward the tank, instead of toward the front, or angled down instead of up, depending on which way you flipped it.

Ahhh, is the lower mount not straight across then? *I haven't seen a picture form directly above it, but that would explain it

Yeah, it's angled upward and forward.
