changing speedo from KPH to MPH

Hi

I am thinking about transporting my 2003 Fireblade 954rr to the UK from Australia and I need to change the speedo from KPH to MPH.

Does anyone know if this is possible on Australian bikes, as I have read somewhere that you cant.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Can't see anything in the book, but I doubt it since we don't have mph on the speedo.
I think you would need to buy a European speedo.
Can somebody in the UK confirm that they have kph as well as mph on their speedo?
Otherwise, it should be fairly easy to print a mph dial and stick it over the kph dial - although I'm sure somebody somewhere probably makes such things.

Re: changing speedo from KPH to MPH

the 954 has a digital speedo. on the us models you can switch from mph to kph with the push of a button.

Of course, so does the 929!
How did I forget that :-)
Which button do you press?

Re: changing speedo from KPH to MPH

usually not the first one you try. if it's a 50/50 chance i always pick wrong the first time... kind of like reseting the odo, i always change the damn thing to kph then ride away. notice later, when there is a nice long line of cars behind me...
