finding a short

I just put a new cam in my cbr1k and it wont spark. The voltage is normal in the direct ingtion coil when I turn it on but drops to 02.24 ma when I crank the engine. the book says an open circut or loose conection in one of the coil wires. How can I check for open or grounded wires without tearing apart the harness?

Which cam did you replace and is it OEM or aftermarket?

Re: finding a short

I went back and double checked the cam position, one was one tooth off, corrected it now I am enjoying my bike. Thanx though.
