is it possible to fit a 190 tyre

I'd go 180 on the 5.5 rim, was thinking 929/954 6" .Bill

assuming a 180/50 is the OEM size...
If you're looking for a little more spirit from your tire in the turns, and better grip, mount a 180/55. Taller profile, bigger contact patch at lean, bike turns in a little better.
I ran a 55 series Q2 on my viffer and the difference was very nice.
