| Thought I would post my V4's The RC30 is in mint condition except for the fugly Kerker slip-on that the previous owner threw on. I have the original exhaust but am trading e-mails with a Japanese company to see if they would be willing to make a small modification to their race system so that it would be compatible with stock RC30 bodywork and kickstand. http://g-man.speedyard.net/images/rc30/rc30-rf-800.jpg
I just added the NC30 to the garage this past Saturday. It's alot like that heavy chick standing alone at the end of the bar near closing time. She looks ok from about 10 feet away but up close in daylight is a whole different story. This one will take a significant investment to get it to 90-95% collector grade so I may just turn it into a track tool. http://g-man.speedyard.net/images/nc30/nc30-01.jpg

| Re: Thought I would post my V4's Heh. There was an article in this month's Motorcycle Consumer News describing MBD. "Multiple Bike Disease". Yeah, you qualify! Owning two bikes, I have the potential to go over the edge! Since I'm adding onto the garage, I'll have the room. Dangerous, very dangerous! |

The boss asked me why one day. I said "'Cause I can!!!!" |

| Re: Thought I would post my V4's Ok, Conq ratted me out but I only have 5 bikes in the garage at the moment and two of them are scooters (my original pimp pit Spree 50 and my recent birthday present from the Mrs. to replace it, a black Ruckus, which everyone knows doen't count towards total bike counts).
At one point I did have both a tricked out street RC51 (Ohlins front and rear, Marchisini forged wheels, Mori exhaust and rearsets, etc) and the race RC51 but I traded the street RC51 for the RC30 last fall. The race RC51 can be converted to fully street legal mode in about 2 hours (if I swap wheels as well) so it does double track/street duty.
I had a chance to pick up a RC45 locally for $17.5k but passed on it. I had the chance to ride a RC30 and RC45 back to back in California and to be honest the RC45 just didn't do it for me. It felt heavy and slow steering; way to much body panels hiding the motor for my taste. That's when I had to have a RC30.
The really funny thing is technically I owned 2 RC30's for about 10 days. I purchased one RC30 off Ebay and then found the one I ended up owning from a private seller in Lousiana. Some good friends of mine ended up buying the Ca. RC30 to add another to their collection of bikes (RC30, RC45, 2 CB1's, VFR, RC51, 929) which allowed me to purse the one in La. |

What will really piss you off is the owners have at leasr one additional RC30 and I believe a RC45 that have never been uncrated. |

| Re: Thought I would post my V4's Nice RC's I'll never understand why people would own them and not RIDE them. The RC30 is too much fun on the track, and belongs there more than on the street.

| I agree and that's my next goal. My RC30 is collector grade and there is no way I would consider risking it on the track. However, there is a guy I race with in the CMRA that currently has a full blown HRC RC30 that he races that I've repeatedly asked about purchasing. His response is always the same, "It's not quite that cool in Hell yet but when I'm ready to sell it you will be first in line." |

| Re: Thought I would post my V4's Nice collection...
It has always cracked me up up that RC30's always have a "future owner" list....almost all of them know where their next home will be....
