More problems... Cal Model deinstall

Hate to barge in and reveal more of my incompetence but while the shop was working on the carbs they seemed to have streamlined it my removing quite a few of the hoses and not bothering to replace them or informing me. I just noticed this little factoid during the install after connecting all the hoses and finding that I had leftover holes in the bike.

It seems to be some lines from #1&2 carbs (PCV lines) the general airlines to all 4 carbs and the Air valve control vent seems to have gone AWOL.

Well, I know very little about the whole evaporative emission control thing works but I figured that if it's not need on the other 49 states I can safely remove it altogether and be ok. Is this possible and if so how?

TIA

I'm not sure, but I think you're talking about the PAIR valves. There are PAIR valve removal instructions in the KB; check it out and if they look identical, you might as well just make sure that the removal was done correctly.

Take it back. Actually often the vent hoses (four) from the carbs are tossed. I have tossed them.

the pair stuff needs to have the exhaust port holes blocked off for removal.
