| Jastek Powerlet Kit for the VFR Well, the kit arrived today. I guess I'll install it tomorrow.
I got the VFR steering-stem kit, then a custom Y cable with one plug that goes to my Garmin GPS and another plug to plug into my tank-bag adapter.
I didn't know they made custom cables/adapters! I called to place an order, told them what I wanted to do, and they said they could make a custom adapter that would save me from having to buy several cables to do the same thing.
I had this setup installed into my last two Bagster bags. Very nice to have a couple of cig. lighter power plugs inside your bag for charging your cell phone, or running a music-playing-device.

| Re: Powerlet / Jastek Kit for the VFR Perfect timing Conq. I had just located the aux. 12v outlet with 2w plug in @ walmart and the schumacher assocated 12" leads with 2w plug for attachment and was wondering how I was going to get that into my tailbag. But now I know...and I can go to walmart and return that crap |

| Re: Powerlet / Jastek Kit for the VFR ..actually I take some of that back, I basically now require just the Powermate® - to actually get the 12vdc inside the case. So I can still make the trip, it will just be to replace these two suction cups and the black RTV
For anyone interested in wtf I am talking about, I think the wally world version of the sae 2w connector to cig. lighter is all of $3 and the sae 2w plug w/leads is $1.67 or $2.xx based on length. Check that battery rack floating in the middle of the auto area, and then peep the trailering stuff - youll find it.
But a means to get this whole deal into your tank bag, they have not. Conq's post was timely
