| Problem, or "just the way it is"? Any gear. In the vicinity of 5k RPMs (basically 4700-5300). Hold the throttle in a steady position. The bike lurches/hesitates. Feels about the same as if it were running out of gas. Doesn't happen anywhere else in the RPM range. |

I've ridden a couple of VTEC's but don't recall any fueling glitches like that....

| Re: Problem, or "just the way it is"? Check out "toneout"'s post: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/scgi-bi...ST;f=2;t=8318;
Looks like it may stick around, even with PCIII, O2 Eliminators, etc. |

| Re: Problem, or "just the way it is"? If it's really a fueling glitch (not mapping) then the PC3 is not going to help...

| Re: Problem, or "just the way it is"? Because of the bombardment of the 4000rpm lunge/lurch complaints I keep waiting for mine to start. I just hit 500 miles today and haven't felt it yet . I cruise around 5000 rpm's because of that v4 "lugging" sensation I get around 4000. But that's only when I gas it. It's consistantly smooth just about anywhere at steady throttle. You're right though; the first thing owners do is ditch the co sensors. |
