2004 VFR Seat

I'm in the market for a more comfortable seat. I've looked at Sargeant and Corbin. Any suggestions

Re: 2004 VFR Seat

I've only sat on a couple Corbins, didn't like them.

On my '98 VFR I had one for all of 200 miles, and that was only because I wasn't going to cut the ride short to get rid of it. Felt like my butt was hovering in space with all of the weight resting at the joint to the legs. Very uncomfortable for me (6', 180lb for reference). Some really like them, but I'm not one of them.

I have a Sargeant on my RC51 and love it. I've sat on a VFR with a Sargent and really liked that, but no riding impressions. The Sargeant keeps more of the original seat shape (or you can customize it) with slight adjustments to address stock issues, and very good foam.

To me the '98 had a very good seat with good supportive foam. If the 94 I have now had the '98s or Sargeant foam it would be perfect.

What don't you like about the '98? Really can't tell you what might work better if we don't know the issue.
