Re: tyres need hints

Hi Hannes. I am originally from Joburg, although I now live in England. I have a VFR 750 and my brother has a VFR 800 FI. I don't know what type of riding you do but unless you are doing track days and to be honest even if you are try the Continental Road Attacks. We both have them and they are utterly stunning in the amount of grip and wear. You can do track days on them, occasionally anyway. Here in the UK, the temperature isn't as high as the highveld and it is, on many occasions anyway, damp and slippery and the Contis still have a huge amount of grip. I have used BridgeStones, BT 020, Pirelli Diablo's and Michelin and none of them come close. Read the report on them here: ContiRoad Attack
You will see that they give supersports performance with sports touring tread life and they are also the best looking tyre around bar none. Trust me you can't go wrong with them

Re: tyres need hints

I think the BT 014's are a good choice but do wear quite quickly, especially on highveld roads. Also look at the Conti Sport Attacks
