Stage 1 Jet for VFR 750 FT

Not as in jet motor ;-)

I am thinking of getting my bike jetted with the stage 1 kit. Has anyone done this before and was it worth it? What was the main difference and did the fuel economy suffer?

Any other ideas worth looking at? I know this is more than one question, I am just trying to get a broad view.

Thanks

Happy Easter all

Installed a Dynojet Stage 1 kit along with a Two Brothers Carbon Fiber high mount about 6,000 miles ago. Fuel economy went down about 2 mpg but the mid-range feels stronger to me. The f/e may have gone down because I tend to ride at slightly higher rpm now just to hear the sweet noise coming out of the pipe!!

Re: Stage 1 Jet for VFR 750 FT

Sounds good to me. I am planning to do a trip down to Spain in November this year with my brother in law for the MotoGp in Valencia. We plan to avoid motorways so there may be quite a distance between fill ups, especially on the Spanish side once we have gone through France. That's the only reason I was interested in the fuel economy.

The main thing I am interested in is response as my bike feels a little flat under 5000 RPM.
