Getting rid of a big booty

I have a 1996 VFR750F and am looking at making it a skinnier bike. Have stripped off the front fairings and have solutions for that. I'm trying to figure out how to skinny up it's tail section to look more like the new CBR RR's. I have some ideas on how to cut it the way I want it. Wondering if any one out there has some suggestions on cutting or available kits or any other tail modification advice? Or is all this heresy to VFR riders?

I've been searching but haven't come across anything yet. I'm still looking though.

haha...you may even be able to mount another bike's tail up with slight modifications as well.

Re: Getting rid of a big booty

There is a multitude of different things you can do to make that bike everything you want.

Just money, time and skill are required.

Ive grafted on the 600RR tail before. It requires a custom subframe.

Re: Getting rid of a big booty

VFRd member FotoMoto has turned his VFR750 into a CBR600 lookalike.

He's grafted on 600RR fairings and a VTEC800 tailsection/exhaust.
