Re: Piston ring change

Ok,for those that have ridden this bike, does the engine produce enough torque at the lower rpms to accelerate the bike quickly?

Re: Piston ring change

You're not looking at much torque at all for a car/cart. You have to keep the weight down to bare minimum for that thing to have any speed.

If you are talking a go-kart sized thing then yes it will be fast, very fast. You start putting on larger size tires, different size gearing, more weight, then it could be dead slow.

Re: Piston ring change

Ok, I'm about ready to order the head gaskets. Service Honda has two different "models"-
12251-MB0-306
12251-MN0-505

What is the difference between these two, and which would be the best?

Norway says hello:
Good luck with your project.
I have a 95 VFR 750F with K&N filter, Factory nozzles and Micron exhaust.
This gives me 93 bhp on the rear tyre (on a DynoJet).
The curve from the Dyno is pretty straight.

Re: Piston ring change

The head gaskets are here. Somebody had said in an earlier post to make sure they go in the right way. Can someone explain what the right way is?
