Bolt pattern for VFR-800 wheels

Hi folks,

I have a question that perhaps you experts can help me with:

I am the manager of Rim And Wheel Works, a rim repair shop here in Boston. We straighten bent automotive and motorcycle rims. I have a customer with a 2001 Interceptor VFR-800 and a bent rim he wants to have straightened. Since my equipment is designed to hold the rims using the center bearings, in order to straighten rims from single swing-arm bikes which are bolted on, I must build a jig which replicates the bolt pattern of the wheel. While I have jigs for BMW bikes, the Honda single swing-arm models are new to me. Does anyone know the bolt pattern for these wheels, so that I could have a jig built without making my customer take his wheel off and wait weeks for a machine shop to do the job?

Thanks very much,

Sean Phillips
Operations Manager
Rim And Wheel Works, Inc.

Try asking on the vfrdiscussion.com board. They'll know...

I also have a bent VFR800 rear wheel. I can send you a complete single sided swingarm or just the mounting hub to use as a fixture. Will give you the swingarm if you will fix my wheel. Pm or call to discuss. 910 367 6814

The bolt pattern of the rear VFR wheel is a very common automative size. I believe it's a 4 x 100mm pattern (same as the Honda Civics and many other imports).
