i'm 6'0" and i weigh 240, give or take, and i was wondering if the 5th gen vfr was for me? i do alot of touring. thanks

I dont know the generations of VFR's unless i look at them but im 6'0" and my 98 VFR800FI does the job for me... Its a great tourer and has quite a bit of poke.

I'm 5'11" and weigh about 230-240 myself. The 5th Gen (98-01) will work out just great for you. Since you say you do a lot of touring, you may consider investing in an aftermarket windscreen for it. I use a Double Bubble windscreen myself, but I use my Interceptor more for canyon carving than for touring. You might consider a touring windscreen...the stock screen and plastics are great for minimizing wind, but touring screens have an upper edge that's curved up slightly to help deflect even more wind than the stock or a double bubble.

Oh, and as far as touring goes, can you spell 200+ miles to the tank? It's spelled V-F-R.
