Aluminum Frame Welding

Anyone know which aluminum alloys Honda uses for its frame extrusions and castings? I don't need to repair anything, but I am interested in modifications.

I've reviewed some of the threads on welding aluminum frames. Some advise against it, others advise it's alright if done properly. I would like to know the alloys so that the proper welding rods can be selected to do it right.

Spondon has modified RC45 frames for HRC, as shown on Brendan's site in the link RC45 - serial # 00010. Spondon itself hasn't responded to my question, which is understandable.

Cheers and all the best for the New Year.
