VFR750F 1993 FUEL OVERFLOW UNDR AIR FILTR HOUSNG

I'VE BEEN PUTTING TOGETHER A 1993 VFR750F AND CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHY I HAVE FUEL COMING OUT OF THE TWO OPENINGS IN A COMBINED TUBE UNDER THE AIR FILTER HOUSING. I HAVE CHECKED MY CLYMER MANUAL AND IT DOES NOT SHOW THE COMBINED TUBES THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THE 4-CARBS? ARE THESE SOME TYPE OF EMISSION SET UP?

IT SEEMS THERE SHOULD BE A CONNECTION BACK TO THE AIR FILTER INTAKE / BYPASS AREA INSTEAD OF DROPPING RAW FUEL ON TOP OF THE HEADS.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.
STUMPED

Sounds like your gas overflow tubes. You could have stuck floats, causing your float bowl to fill and not shut off when it has adequate fuel....this, the reason for overflow. If it is overflowing it should come out directly under the bike, right behind the front wheel.
