| vf500f 1985 coolant hoses hello everyone, am new here and new to honda motorcycles as well...does anyone know what currently available hoses can be used in the cooling system of the 1985 interceptor 500? honda apparently no longer supplies them... many thanks to all peterk | |

| Re: vf500f 1985 coolant hoses almost any hose will be fine but the hoses are prebent stock so you will have to just deal with it mine had been sitting for over 9 years and i fully rebuilt it so thats what I did on one of the sides i got a stainless steel spring and put it in the hose to get the kink i needed for around the frame. i just hose clamped it in place so the spring wouldnt move because of hose expansion under pressure and heat. |
