How aggressive can a 4th gen get?

I'm looking for a winter project! I already have an 05 600rr, its my road/track toy. I'm going to track dedicate it over the winter and beat the hell out of it on the track next summer. I'm looking for a road burner and want a twin instead of an inline engine. I like the sound of the v-4, and the single sided swing arm. I like the 4th gen best. I want to attempt a re body, suspension mods, and light engine mods. Every bike I own must see track time, so I would lean toward a more aggressive racer setup! Would love nothing more than to build a racer replica. Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions, or direct me in the right direction!!

Thanks
Zack

VFR's come from a long line of racing heritage, and are quite suited for the track.

Me on a fifth gen at Mid-Ohio ten years ago....

No...that was on a stock bike except for a Penske shock.
