After Market Exhaust for '03 Honda Interceptor

Hey there all...Hope you can help me. I own an '03 Honda Interceptor...I absolutely enjoy the ride but I'm looking for a louder exhaust that also may enhance the bike's performance. I've read plenty of assorted posts out there on the Internet and it appears some folks don't even believe the Interceptor, due to the V-twin, can really get any louder than the stock exhaust. Can't be true, can it??

Please point me in the right direction of which after market exhaust systems I should turn to for this specific make/model. I appreciate all responses.

it may not be a vtwin but trust me it can be loud! i have a two brothers vale slip on and a motad header. sounds great while cruising (very powerful but not too loud). but it positively screams after vtec. i love it!

I have Scorpion pipes on the 2002 I just purchased, and it is very quiet. If you are looking for loud, you may want to avoid those...

Forgive me if this seems like a complete noob question, but: silencers? Are you saying that there is something removable within the pipes themselves that will make the bike louder? I'm pretty new to motorcycles and wrenching on them at this point.
