Just bought a 90 VFR 750 - parts interchangability?

I just picked up a 90 VFR 750 for $150!!! But it needs some stuff like a clutch case cover, starter and all the body panels. What years do I need to stick to for engine vs body parts? I don't plan to restore the body, but rather look at alternative options. The engine however will get restored first and maybe later look at upgrades. What are my resources and options? found a 93 case cover on ebay, missing a few things but compatible? Thanks!

Go to Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories – BikeBandit.com search under OEM parts and then simply compair part numbers. For example, if you have the '90 look up th part number for the case cover for that year then look up the '93 and see if the part numbers match.

Good deal, that helps on apples to apples stuff. Anyone know of any inverted fork swaps that have gone well and from what? Bigger calipers and rotors would be a bonus with that, especially if the front wheel could be reused!

My 90 VFR 750 clutch cover is a different part number than the 93, which visually looks the same other than some cosmetics. Does anyone know if the parts are interchangable?

Go to VFRDiscussion.com for alot of technical info on the VFR. They have a bunch of threads with pics of mods. Ask your question there first and they will probably give you a link right away.
